Walk a Crooked Mile Presents More Music

Walk a Crooked Mile Books is pleased to welcome eight singer/songwriters from the Philadelphia Area Songwriters Alliance to the Mt. Airy Train Station Concert series for a free concert on Thursday, July 22, 7-9 p.m. at the train station at Gowen Avenue and Devon Street. The alliance is an organization of local musicians.


Performing their own original pieces will be Janet Bressler, Drew Calvin, Tom Chirip, Lori Citro (above left), Brent Ellison, Tim LaBorie, Rob Lincoln and Nathan Surles (above right), with Sharon Abbott acting as MC.


This is an outdoor concert so bring lawn chairs or blankets and a picnic. The rain date is Friday, July 23, 7-9 p.m. For questions call 215-242-0854.


Stagecrafters

Actors are performing three works this weekend with script in hand, including The Tale Of The Allergist’s  Wife by Charles Busch, Suddenly, Last Summer by Tennessee Williams, and Dinner With Friends by Donald Margulies.
