The Photo Workshop, 8011 Germantown Avenue, is currently displaying the whimsical botanical illustrations of M.F. Cardamone through Saturday, March 13. Cardamone is one of the featured artists at this year’s Philadelphia International Flower Show.
Her mixed media works on paper record the life histories of plants throughout the world, combining plant specimens with images and text to playfully modernize the traditions of specimen mounting and botanical illustration. A selection of framed and unframed prints are on display and available for sale.
