The Mt. Airy Independent publishes the cartoon series “Welcome to Mt. Airy” by Amy Ignatow. She is an illustrator, writer, and teacher. She and her husband Mark Graham relocated from Center City to Mt. Airy, where they are learning the joys of homeownership. Her first illustrated children’s novel, The Popularity Papers: Research for the Social Improvement and General Betterment of Lydia Goldblatt and Julie Graham-Chang will be published by Amulet Books and will be available for purchase in April, 2010.
